The SolarCity Partnership reviews large solar domestic hot water systems, indoor and outdoor solar pool heating, solar air heating systems and photovoltaic installations.

Technologies are assessed with respect to their capacity to efficiently produce energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and generate revenue. Issues relating to procurement, financing and facility operation and maintenance are also addressed.

We will be adding more information on specific technologies in the near future. Meanwhile, be sure to review our Best Practices report, which is relevant for all solar technologies.

Since its establishment in 2008 by the Toronto Atmospheric Fund, the City of Toronto and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, the SolarCity Partnership has expanded to include several private and public sector members in the Greater Toronto Area. The first phase of the partnership is also supported by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Green Municipal Funds.
